The Rockdale Municipal Development District (RMDD) is accepting applications for a member of the Board of Directors.  It is the mission of the RMDD to aid the City of Rockdale and any interested public or private entity in making the community a better place to live, work, and do business.  The Board of Directors is the highest leadership body of the RMDD, providing mission-based leadership and strategic governance.    

The position is required to understand the organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs; prepare for and participate in Board meetings; maintain confidentiality about all RMDD matters; cast an informed vote on action items; and engage in Board trainings.

Any registered voter living within the Rockdale Independent School District is eligible to apply for Board membership. 

Applications will be accepted through Friday February 23^rd, 2024
